Draft - pending legal review

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Printofor ("we", "us") handles information when you visit this site or use the Printofor plugin and builder. We are a business-to-business software provider for print shops. This is a draft for review and does not yet constitute legal advice.

Data we collect

We collect the information you give us directly, such as your name, business name, email address, and the contents of messages you send us. When you use the builder, we process the artwork and gang sheet files you upload solely to generate print-ready output. We also collect limited technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) through standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics.

How we use data

We use data to provide and improve the service, respond to enquiries, process your uploads into print-ready files, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your customers' artwork for any purpose other than producing the output you request.

Cookies

This marketing site uses only essential cookies and local storage (for example, to remember your language preference). We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any analytics we use are configured to avoid storing personally identifying information where possible.

Your rights (GDPR and PIPEDA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We act as a data processor for the artwork uploaded through our customers' stores and as a controller for the contact data you share with us directly. To exercise any right, contact us and we will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.

Data retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Production files are attached to orders and expire on a schedule. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect data; no method of transmission is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
