What is a DTF gang sheet?
A gang sheet is one large sheet of DTF transfer film with many designs printed together in a single run. Instead of printing each design on its own piece of film, you "gang" them onto one sheet - so one pass of the printer produces dozens of transfers and far less film goes to waste.
What is irregular nesting?
Automatic layout that packs designs by their real outlines, not their rectangular bounding boxes. Shapes tuck into each other's gaps, which is how Printofor reaches ~82-87% sheet density.
Why does roll usage matter?
DTF film is bought by the roll and is one of your biggest consumables. Every centimetre of roll you do not print is money kept - denser sheets mean the same orders consume up to ~50% less film.
